Those two trying to tell me Skjei shouldn't be penciled in for a top 4 d-man spot.

I will say as we go into the future and the Rangers can't unload Marc Staal in a traded, or find the buyout money too steep a price. Wonder about the idea of teams like the Sens, Coyotes, Leafs and Wings having players "fail" physicals. Staal gets the money and the Rangers open up 5.7 million in cap space.

I am still a fan but every year we predict a CK20 breakout & he comes close but just can't put together a complete season.

What message does it send to every other player in camp if AV publically announces that skjei is a lock before physicals even happen?

I guarantee AV has him penciled in as a top 3 defenseman for us already, but he's not going to say that. Saying that would be stupid.
