If your comparing players you need to compare their years, the number of games. Can't say they're both the same age so that is only factor.

Pastrnak had 90 games unde his belt coming into last year Nylander 20.

Nylander a first 104 games in the nhl > pastrnak first 94 games. That's the comparison.

Doesn't make any sense to me...but I guess if you were trying to trick Lou into more money maybe it would.

Same age why not just use last year....DP was younger I would suspect a player who's older coming into the league to put up better #'s then if a player coming in 2 years younger.

Anyways...he'll get paid handsomely I'm sure....just don't think he'd get DP's money if he signed today.
