Disagree that Boston misses for sure - I agree Tampa likely makes it - but another knee injury or broken leg to Stamkos or a goalie injury - could alter that, I don't see Montreal or Ottawa as a sure thing. Toronto - makes it barring injury. Florida for me is not there - an organization that operates on the cheap and what they did with the coaching last year is not the sign of a solid organization. Buffalo could surprise, sh!tty ownership and management, questionable coaching but some serious talent.

Honestly the entire Atlantic is pretty open, any team that gets on a run can make it.

Injury clause applies to every team. Based off last season the Leafs should improve and be in, but given the openness, I wouldn't count out any team as a "for sure miss"

Chara is done. Offense sucks. Slow. Unless Marchand goes bankers and scores 60 goals, or Rask has a career year, I just don't see them making it.

We've already swung down. We missed the playoffs two years in a row and acquired a lot of young talent. Could've been better, yeah, but I think you're severely underestimating the Bruins.

Also, the Bruins' offence sucks? It was 13th in the league for scoring

Tampa is an interesting team - they have solid talent on offense, defense and in net. I would think they make it unless they see injuries again. Injuries for them are a major point though - Stamkos is very unlucky it seems. There will be plenty of teams on the bubble this year - Boston, Ottawa, Rangers, Flyers and even the Habs. There is a chance, especially with injuries that the Leafs miss the playoffs. We'll see, Vegas does like the Leafs, I've seen a couple of posts where Vancouver is playing longer odds to win than Las Vegas.

Detroit is horrible. No way they make it.

Florida lost a lot of good players. Loungo is going downhill fast.

Buffalo is meh still.
