Thanks. I saw a bit of the first game, on and off things around the house, but missed the second.

Would have been interesting to see all four (Borgman, Rosen, Dermott, and Liljegrin) on the ice in the same game to compare. Anyway at camp there should be some more showings.

Chabot is a nice prospect no doubt, but hes not going to come in and take the league by storm! I hope Ottawa does terrible, but ends up picking like 14th overall..

Whatever RJ. You've been here long enough to know that the parade has been planned for decades. I mean there may be some adjustments needed to compensate for ridiculous street car track repairs but we definitely will not be caught unprepared for the parade.

I heard that he's organizing a bake sale to raise funds for a new downtown stadium and a contract extension for Karlsson which should put him in the running for executive of the year as well.

Yep, the east is strong! Ottawa looks like they could have a wash year with Karlson's recovery from a serious injury and surgery. They are saying he is out to maybe December.

Tampa will come back and make the playoffs. Last season they lost like their top 5 centers to injury! Teams that will make it are Tampa, Montreal, Toronto. The mystery to me is Florida. They looked poised to take the next step and then Jagr happened. He is gone now, will they bounce back?

Teams that will miss for sure: Buffalo (because they are Buffalo), Boston, Detroit.

Disagree that Boston misses for sure - I agree Tampa likely makes it - but another knee injury or broken leg to Stamkos or a goalie injury - could alter that, I don't see Montreal or Ottawa as a sure thing. Toronto - makes it barring injury. Florida for me is not there - an organization that operates on the cheap and what they did with the coaching last year is not the sign of a solid organization. Buffalo could surprise, sh!tty ownership and management, questionable coaching but some serious talent.
