Tampa is an interesting team - they have solid talent on offense, defense and in net. I would think they make it unless they see injuries again. Injuries for them are a major point though - Stamkos is very unlucky it seems. There will be plenty of teams on the bubble this year - Boston, Ottawa, Rangers, Flyers and even the Habs. There is a chance, especially with injuries that the Leafs miss the playoffs. We'll see, Vegas does like the Leafs, I've seen a couple of posts where Vancouver is playing longer odds to win than Las Vegas.

Tampa will come back and make the playoffs. Last season they lost like their top 5 centers to injury! Teams that will make it are Tampa, Montreal, Toronto. The mystery to me is Florida. They looked poised to take the next step and then Jagr happened. He is gone now, will they bounce back?

Teams that will miss for sure: Buffalo (because they are Buffalo), Boston, Detroit.

They weren't there. I don't think there are rules on eligibility. They didn't send them to the rookie camp becuase they played pro hockey already.
