No...
Your time is probably best spent on things that may actually come to fruition.
Happy Leafs fans? |

terrible.
the only thing that should unite habs and leafs fans is hate for the sens. - Tumbleweed
its funny you say that because the only thing that gets bigger market teams to hate smaller market teams is because they usually feel threatened by their skill and think they have the better team. |

I just want the new season to start. The last senators game I watched still stings |

Hey...
They're 'happy' to have Phaneuf on the Sens...
OK... They asked him to waive for the expansion draft and he said no... but they're good with that!
Much rather Dion than Methot.

I think them asking him to waive was so they could get away with not losing anyone to Vegas. They thought there was no way vegas would take him and than they could protect Methot. |

Ya unfortunately I think that was a huge mistake, by letting Methot go!they should of found a way to get him protected via a deal or traded for him back, being Karlssons best friend on the team I'm sure he wasn't happy! Tho he is obviously a professional and will respond as such! But it just seems like such a melnuk thing to happen ..and on a side note the pickup of oduya was not to shabby, hopefully he can not only replace Methot but contribute more with his cup experience |

Pretty much. Obviously one would prefer to win than lose, but it's pretty meaningless other than for bragging rights.
EDIT: Maybe to see young prospects in action, but that's a different topic - david22
Oh for sure. Fun to watch no doubt...and its hockey after months of no hockey.
But who wins who loses....doesnt really matter long term. |

leafs and sens can't agree on anything.

It can be difficult to get the millions of leaf fans to agree with dozens of sens fans. |

Unfortunately, these 'fools' are the ones who usually come and troll our MB and believe me, there are many more than one or two.
Speaking of fools... today's TSN article: 'Simmons: Why this Maple Leafs team will win the Stanley Cup'

Only saw the shootout for the Toronto game but the thing that really stood out for me was how much bigger in size Ottawa's prospect pool looked compared to the Leaf's. Brown, Englund, Lajoie, Gagne all looked at least six inches taller and in way better shape than anyone on the Leafs. Looks like its gonna be a fast, big and aggressive team in a few years.
- ahjnkn
Sounds good, despite being a faster league now.Players still need size . It is really just a few small players that make any impact |
