You can make all the demands you want, but you're only going to get what's being put out there.

If the Bills were to replicate this performance for the remaining 15 games, they probably win four more of them if everything were to go really, really well.

I just want to know when, if ever the Bills plan to throw balls to wide receivers.

We move up in the 2nd round to draft Jones, and throw to him one time.

Did you watch a lot of college and junior games when the Sabres tanked in 2015?

Did you happen to see the scores of any other game around the league today? Mediocrity was everywhere. The Bears were a goal line play away from beating the SB runner up and Pittsburgh couldn't pull away from the Browns. Bills could've easily had 6-10 more points today and they did have over 400 yards of offense. Tyrod doesn't get enough credit for his escapabilty and plays he makes with his feet. That play he made to weasel himself out of a sack and throw a perfect pass on the run to Shady wouldn't have been made by many other QBs in the league. On 3rd down no less. I happened to catch Deshaun Watson get a standing ovation from the Texans fans because of a 6 yard scramble. Stop it. Your takes on Tyrod today sound like Gerbe stole your login.

On to Carolina. Fasten your seatbelts Bills fans.

I'm not a huge tyrod fan by any means, but he's light years better than geno smith

These are the days I loathe. The team won, yet there are still so many people out there that are tearing them apart like they just got shellacked by the worst team in the league. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the 1 in the W column.

Onto the next week.

And I completely agree in terms of the mediocrity that was all over the place yesterday. The Seahawks/Green Bay game was awful for the whole first half by both teams. The Giants also didn't look so hot yesterday.

I believe it's the general populous of Bills fans, not necessarily anyone specific.

This is my interpretation, and is not intended to be the words of another poster.

It's just the looser mentality of some buffalo fans, we suck so we will always suck, poor us. So unless there is a team of all pro's they're not happy. It's like listening to Sabres "fans" last year rooting for then to loose. Just because they draft high doesn't mean they will get the best player, yet every years there are Fans wanting buffalo teams to tank.

Its a win, it was ugly at times it was surprisingly good at times, but for the most part they played well. Hell as it stands right now they are 2nd in offense and 2 in defense ( but we only played the jets) well guess what, we can only play who is on the schedule. I was most encouraged the coaching staff might actually know what they are doing. I choose to enjoy the win..... and the pats loosing.

Tore apart was a bit of an exaggeration. But so is the reaction of some fans to us not beating the Jets by a wider margin.

Were they perfect? No. But they won and that's really all that matters. One week, one game at a time. That's all you ask for at this point.

IMO "tore apart" is exaggerated.

But then again, so is the cynicism over the"mediocrity." These are the people for whom Jesus Christ isn't good enough because his hair is too long.

See, the "loser mentality" is my issue too, but not the woe is me part.

It's the continuous sticking up for mediocre players who become fan favorites because they don't suck too bad, they just look like they just barely belong in the league

Taylor was outplayed by McCown in the first half of yesterday's game. I don't blame people for not being ecstatic with the game

There is so much room between ecstatic and critical, though.

How about if we just find a little "satisfaction."

I'm happy we won, but I'll be honest I still would rather just go Peterman and see what's there.

I think we all know what Tyrod is, and it's not bad, but not great. After the last 17 years we should be trying to go for great

This.

It happened ALL SEASON LONG with the Sabres last year too. Even in the games they won, whatever they did wasn't good enough for some people around here and it gets old quick.

Those of us that do enjoy the wins aren't saying we're settling for mediocrity. We're just glad to see a win. We'll be even more glad when there's more wins to celebrate.

Maybe it's just the difference in the way people view life. The whole glass half full/half empty debate. I'm generally optimistic by nature. My best friend is the total opposite and there's times we drive each other crazy because of it.
