He does a of things well, but doesn't really stand out in one particular area. Could be one of those forwads who plays well at the point on the PP since he has a good one timer and can pass the puck.

You'll be happy to know that he gets pissed off on the ice and lets it out on his opponents at times

I'm not a big OJ fan for where he was picked, but yeah it's waaay too soon to call him a bad pick, especially since he's a dman. I'd still prefer for him to play another year in junior and bulk up more, especially since London does a great job of developing. I'll be happy if he becomes a solid top 4 dman.

Just finished watching the game. Chatfield and Molino looked good. Lind and Gadj made some nice plays. Gadjovich has some nice hands and goes to the right areas, but he definitely needs to improve his skating. MacEwen has some nice tools, looked like he was trying to do too much himself though, but his upside a lot if he can play more within himself. Could become a nice bottom 6 player if he puts it all together. A good sleeper prospect.

I wouldn't read too much into guys like Boeser and OJ in this tournament though, these guys aren't going to play at 100% since they're waiting for main camp so I honestly didn't pay a lot of attention to them unless they were directly involved in the play. Boeser's shot though He has the kind of lethal shot you can build a PP around. That boy can rip the puck.

WPG's goalie made some nice ass saves despite the loss.

We finally see some exposure of this kid. His shot is well known but I'm starting to see some eye catching passes coming out of him every time I watch him now. He's more than a one trick pony that's for sure. At least a two trick pony...

Did you see OJ hit the goon when he hit Chatfield?

OJ has put some meat on his body and does not look like a pushover anymore

if Tanev plays 78+ games and LE and Vanek get 25+ each we will be in the wildcard hunt!!

Go Canucks

Molino looks good and JV is gonna rock training camp

I would have picked Sergachev over him. Joulevi was still in top ten of the draft and top 2 defence.

Benning says it's fair to say the #Canucks' Top-6 D going into season will be:

Elder-Tanev
Hutton-Stecher

i'm into it.

i wonder about the 7th D.
Camp will sort it out, but i couldn't say who out of Pedan, Weircoch, Biega, that Swedish fella or OJ has the best odds.

i'd guess Weircoch is a safe bet.

Weircoch sucks. I'd put money on Holm or Pedan(if they want a tough guy)
