Everyone knows that metal expands when it heats up, so why not just turn down the temperature of the fridge and freezer so that they shrink a little?

If I were to do a full kitchen reno, I would go with something like that... but the reno budget is currently focused on redoing our upstairs, adding in a bathroom, converting crawl space into in-wall storage, and adding some skylights.

Gonna be pretty sweet, once I find a contractor who seems to have their poop together.
