Thats right & where elite talent is drafted is round 1.
Lind fell a few spots with the round# only amounting to semantics.
I'm not fretting over rounds 2-7 til round 1 gets a winner.

Whatever happens or who we pick we need stud D eventually.

Lucky as in a first overall pick? You still get to select really good young players, right, Juolevi and Pettersson are still awesome prospects without winning the lotto.

Getting lucky for a one of the 3 lotto picks is not a reward of sucking. That's the reality missing from the tank set up concept.

What's funny about Toews draft yr is he was passed over by Pitt. They could have drafted Malkin, Crosby, and Toews in 3 straight drafts.
