While in the past the team has done well, I just cant see the Canucks offseason having a greater impact on the ice this year than those of the rest of the division. They will be in the games, but I am not hopeful that they will have a good record against the division, which is critical for success

Pretty sure the usual predictions will be made based on last seasons stats and outcomes. But I think that the projections at this point will be off because of all of the unknowns.

Well he's the only RD out there that could offer depth, to a short on options for RD, competition on Canucks.

What's the harm in a 1 year deal? Could be trade bait at TDL even a 7th is a win. But more so pushes internal competition for Guddy and Stecher. Plus insurance when Tanev suffers his yearly injury.

BPA/need is D IMO
Only an elite game breaker F would change my mind.
Svechnikov sure & maybe Veleno if he goes crazy.
Tkachuk would have to skyrocket up the ranks.
In the end its fairly apparent its a D unless something strange happens

Losing Tree hurt him on producing positives. Plus, JV making it won't help much cause he's not expected to play a top 6 role or have offensive impact. Goldy is a Sven like success mark which most don't see as a core impact.

Just looking at politics as JB's job is on line to show results of some kind.
