Hey, someone had to give Courtney Love the springboard to her life-long success. Granted, she was quickly kicked out of the band, but that's how it all began for America's sweetheart.

Really?
Also, ever give a listen to Mike Patton's band Peeping Tom? Good stuff - worth the listen just to hear Norah Jones get dirty
Hopefully his old teammate Nolan Patrick will join him. I'm hoping those 2 are the foundation pieces that they build their next championship team around. - BiggE
That would have been a smart decision on Nolan's part! Sure hope so. I think that workout could serve the kid well. I believe what put Provy over the top last year was his conditioning.

I'm just curious about the depth of insight/analysis, honestly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - Giroux_Is_God
Its a mixed bag right now. Some of the hockey stuff, particularly from Tyler Dellow is extremely in depth, and then there's some stuff that is light weight, perhaps.. dare I say it? Fluffy?
Two things I remember when the Flyers acquired Desjardins wee his SCF hat trick against the kings and a game in February of 94. The flyers were routing the Habs and in the second period the flyers scored and a rumble broke out. I vividly remember Lindros slamming Rico to the ice multiple times.

And now, since Labor day has passed and the air should be getting cooler, here is how I see the NHL standings finishing up for 17-18. I think Bettman will be getting the parity he loves so much.
*starred teams are the wildcards
ATLANTIC
1. Tampa Bay 110
2. Toronto 103
3. Montreal 98
4. Ottawa 93
5. Boston 89
6. Florida 86
7. Buffalo 84
8. Detroit 67
METRO
1. Pittsburgh 108
2. Washington 105
3. Columbus 103
4. The spawn of satan* 99
5. Philadelphia* 95
6. Carolina 94
7. NY Islanders 88
8. New Jersey 71
CENTRAL (the toughest to pick, I think the top 6 teams all finish within 10 points of each other)
1. St. Louis 106
2. Chicago 104
3. Nashville 103
4. Dallas* 101
5. Minnesota* 97
6. Winnipeg 96
7. Colorado 65
PACIFIC
1. Edmonton 106
2. Anaheim 104
3. Calgary 101
4. Los Angeles 95
5. San Jose 92
6. Arizona 83
7. Vancouver 73
8. Las Vegas 70 - BiggE
I hope you're right. I personally think Jordan Eberle is a good pick up and the Islanders will be better than us and Carolina. Plus their defense is more seasoned than ours.

Pretty reasonable. Calgary and WPG are a little high points wise imo.
Also I'd like to throw this out there. I quietly have been thinking this is the year Lundkwist begins to get worse. Not saying he'll be bad, but this might be his first good year. His elite years I'd say are 3 yrs gone, and he's been great since then. That team isn't getting any younger or faster, especially at D. If he's only good....NYR will suffer.
