The Bills worked out free-agent QB/WR/ST Joe Webb, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates on Sunday. Webb was released Saturday by the Panthers after three seasons with the team, all spent when Bills first-year GM Brandon Beane served as Carolina's assistant GM. Webb is a jack-of-all-trades who has played quarterback, wide receiver, kick returner and special teams since entering the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Vikings in 2010.

I much prefer the college game over the NFL, so I don't really ever plan to watch a Bucs game, or really any NFL game. However, I have been somewhat excited about the Bucs potential this year so I will try to catch more than usual. The Bucs offense should be one of the top offenses this year; Winston, Jackson, Evans, Brate, Howard, Martin (after he serves his 3 game suspension).

Lets not get carried away. Darnold did not look that good yesterday, and Rosen was only good for a half against an average A&M team. They are both great talents but some other QBs in the NCAA might be better. Rosen has been talked about since he was a freshman but it seems like each of the last 2 years he has under-preformed. Hopefully he looks like he did in the 2nd half of the game vs A&M for most of the year.

I never thought Geno would do anything in the pro's. That spread system Geno ran at WV was never going to translate to the NFL. Hard to judge any QB in the BIGXII because of the defenses they play against, though I think Mayfield (Oklahoma) and Rudolph (Oklahoma State) will be productive pros and they might be the 2 best QBs in college right now.

No, but the passes themselves were often beautiful. Bombs, right on the money. But the college ball allows that. The pro ball is an entire degree of difficulty higher.

I'm pretty sure the only difference between a pro ball and college ball is that there are 2 white stripes on each side of the laces on the college ball making it easier to see in the air. Also in the NFL, Wilson makes all the footballs and in college the ball contract is set up by the conferences.
