89 left because he couldn't take a joke. That's why we ran 39's dumb ass out of here too, but now that I said his name I'm sure he'll appear. It's almost like he's an alt of a regular or something or vice versa.

Don't be that guy. It's all in good fun.

This is like Murray almost, wants 0 players from the previous regime.

A 4th in '19? For a guy who wasn't able to play 1 regular season snap?

- sbroads24

From what I heard he wasn't going to be playing this year either the way he played in camp.

Remove your head from Pegula's incompetent butt and wake up to the world outside of Buffalo. The Devils have a solid core going after these past few drafts, 1 of them being #1 overall pick this year in Hischier. The acquisition of Taylor Hall, Marcus Johannson, Kyle Palmeiri, Cory Schneider to name a few.

Both teams are hovering around mediocre in the standings but the futures are bright. everyone just has a sore spot for NJ from what it seems. Not sure why considering we aren't rivals in any way. I've never understood it.

It's because your favorite team played the most (frank)ing boring hockey for the last 25 years. Sure, for them it worked, you got 3 Cups. But for the rest of us it was/is torture to watch.

Those NJ cup winning teams were amongst the higher scoring teams in the league and were in fact the #1 offense in 2000-2001. Yes, I understand it's boring watching your team get their Richards knocked in the dirt for a few decades but it was nothing like the brand of hockey the Devils play now. Detroit basically played the exact same system under Bowman and nobody complains...

Yeah, because you bored the other team into mistakes and then capitalized. Again, I'm not saying it's not effective, the Sens just went to the conference finals on the back of that style. It's just boring as (frank) to watch.

And what are you talking about? Everyone hated the Red Wings, and pretty much still do.

What's this about? The Bills signed some QB today? Are they getting rid of Yates?

Or are they going full tank and getting rid of Tyrod? I would be so pissed if I was him. You get badgered into restructuring a deal you made just last year when you could've walked to any team you wanted.

Those Red Wing teams had flavor to it with their players, Yzerman through the Russians

The Devils were BORING...but VERY VERY good.

Both Yates and Tyrod are in the concussion protocol they had to sign someone.

I think Yates is a goner though

First, if you think you're going to bore professional NHL players into making a mistake you don't know what it's like to play the game.

Second, if you don't realize the Red Wings are amongst the top 10 most popular and for that matter most valuable franchise you need to get out of Buffalo, or Leroy or wherever more often.

Just saying.

So with 2 star centers, an above average goalie and 6 NHL dmen the sabres still couldn't make the playoffs

Must be the NBA where the whole team needs to be all Stars just to sniff the playoffs these days

- dmarsden2988

The devils played the most boring style of hockey for decades and they were damn good at it. Good for them, it worked for them, but man it was franking boring hockey to watch. I would literally leave games at the end of the first when the score was 2-0 devils. You just knew the Sabres were going to lose and only generate 17 shots on goal for 3 periods.

No, it really isn't. We've had 3 or 4 guys giving us inside information over the past few years and a handful of you (frank)ing lambaste them if 1 minor detail is wrong.

I love hearing anything and I'm not the type to be begging for a PM, so yeah, you guys have ruined it for the rest of us because you're all a bunch of wankers about the whole thing.

(frank), me and 89 didn't even get along on my last account, let alone this one and I still appreciate his information and liked shooting the poop with him. He never backed down, at least and wasn't a (frank)ing sot like "The Emperor".

I think the question becomes, is it really inside info, or just guessing?

I've seen two people here with actual useful info posted. 39 and 89. Other than that it's been a bunch of "We might trade for Pat Kane, but take it with a grain of salt."

I've gotten better info from a Dove chocolate wrapper than half of the "inside info" posted on here.
