Doing well man, life is good - just plotting how to return to Ontario, but apart from that it's all good. Weirdoh is still around these parts, but Stee hasn't been by much for a long while, pretty much since he moved back out to AB - lumlums
Tee had a condo near the Rogers Center. He still with the wife? |

Basically sold the house in Markham after the wife died. Bought a condo in North York. I've been basically brain dead the last few years being really stupid with my money & putting my trust in the wrong people who basically fukkked me over.
But I'm surviving. I have a hard time for so long trying to log into this site. Finally today I got in. - GCHonda
Well that sucks....hopefully everything gets a little easier from here on out. |

Stee and friends drank the wifes bottle and broke the stove. She traded him to Edmonton for futures. We've barely heard from him since. The end. |

I am curious to see what Bo Horvat (Canucks only 20 goal scorer) signs for. Will be interesting to compare. - winsix
I don't think the two situations are comparable if that's what you're getting at? Horvat plays on a poop team with next to zero help whereas Brown plays on a talent laden team. Horvat also plays a different position and he had almost 20 more points than Brown. |

I need to recognize beforehand which women are good & who the (frank)en cold hearted female doges are. Been (frank)ed over by a few female doges. So I've learned my lesson the hard way. Gotta start a stubborn wiener with my money instead of a sucker with an open wallet. 2018 will be a much better year for me. For me it will be the year of NO female dogES!!!!

Aren't the taxes a lot higher in Ontario? I remember one of the guys from there refused to move back because he'd be paying so much more in income taxes. He's a traveling industrial prostitute like me. |

I don't think so actually - if I recall the provincial income tax in ON is lower than AB until you earn a couple of hundred grand per. That said, he definitely had better employment prospects in AB |

But Alberta has no tax on purchases?
And i think Ontario is a tad higher on personal income tax too?

No PST, so all we pay is GST.
Needless to say, Mrs Lums bought her new car here before she started her new gig in Oakville |

He lives in BC, not Alberta, no one wants to live in Alberta, they just go there to fill their pockets and leave haha.
I just checked, it's slightly higher in Ontario than BC when your earnings get into the six figure bracket, but not a HUGE difference. |

So just you're stuck in AB?
I think personal income tax in Ont on $175k is 35.5 and AB is 32.2
*that's what Google tells me* |

Happy to be back Lums. As long as I stay away from the F N female doges I will be ok. Wow gonna miss Tee around here. Joking aside is he still with the wife? - GCHonda
No the story about the bottle and broken stove are true...they split and he took a bus to Edmonton...he's been on a few times since...not really sure if he's still alive now. |

It's funny....Shanny gets a lot of credit for turning things around in TO but his regime really only has two draft picks on the team (correct me if I'm wrong) in Marner and Matthews. The rest are players that previous managers brought in.
I know he cut a lot of dead-weight and did some good things but as I said, the players are largely not of his doing. |

Yeah, stuck in AB for now. Working on trying to get some work out in ON. There's not much directly around TO, but there's a nice research position at Queens that I'm in the mix for |

He came on board just before the Nylander pick - it was made clear that Nonis was leaned on very heavily by Shanny to pick him and not (frank) it up like he did with the Gauthier pick. |
