Um yes actually, I was bussed from South Buffalo to the Eastside from 1st grade until 6th until my family moved out of Buffalo.

Not to mention my step mom (teacher), my sister(teacher), my wife's aunt (teacher), another one of my wife's aunt's (Vice principal) and my mom's best friend (vice principals) are educators in the Buffalo School District.

I actually had some good teachers and had some crappy teacher.

Organizations have been set up where students can sign up and get internships at schools to gain experience and make it more likely they'll be hired.

Problem is that schools have been using it as a cheap alternative to hiring actual teachers because they don't have enough of a budget to actually hire anyone.

So these kids come in, teach classes, graduate from university, and then can't get hired because schools either can't afford to hire them or are using the university students.
