The other forward worth discussing here is Leon Draisaitl, who had an outstanding year playing a prominent role on the top line. There’s understandably a lot of hype around him and his importance to the Oilers going forward, and he’s positioned himself to cash-in on a heavy, long-term contract. If you make the decision that Dylan Larkin is the face of your franchise, you aren't going to championships. Eichel has that capability.

That said, I still say that Larkin outplayed Eichel in the 2015 World Juniors.
