His agent is from Rochester and just golfed in the Rochester amerks golf tournament. So if anybody can sell Buffalo, Bartlett can. The sabres were also butchers favorite team growing up and he has played with eichel, girgs and someone else and played for Housley. So he should be comfortable with buffalo.

I like the signing.
He is useful and reportedly a positive impact on the team in the locker room.
On a team that has nearly every position to worry about, having one locked up with a character player is a very good thing.
You should be asking was is Dareus such a friggin douche bag and why did Whaley extend him with a boat load of money that makes his contract a boat anchor for 2 more seasons.

Incognito would probably have some value
Cut Holmes & whoever else to get that 3rd
let's say we get a 2nd each for McCoy & Dareus
Late 3rds for Hughes & Williams & Incognito


That gives us 12 picks in the first 3 rounds next year
Get our QB (we probably wouldn't even have to trade up)
Use the rest of the picks to rebuild

But then again I was ridiculed last year at the trade deadline for saying the exact same thing. We could have been 1 year in to the rebuild already....glad to see others are coming around!!!

They did make the right decision.
Lock up a character guy who is still productive and focus energies on where the holes are.
In a sinking boat, you don't change the spark plugs ... you fill the holes.
In 2 years you will get your wish....for now, how about focusing on WRs, TEs, RT & RG, QB...just on the O.
D is LBs, CB, S and getting Dareus, the Boy the F out of here.

Haynesworth couldn't pass a physical in his first camp with the Redskins that Mike Golic could easily do in his 40's.

Dareus has been and still is a very good player. He had issues in college too and we knew about them and drafted him anyway. I'm pretty sure he got arrested once before the extension too. No, this is entirely on the Bills. Honestly I probably would've given him the same contract maybe with some stronger language about personal conduct, but he would've walked and then people would've been even more pissed. Marcel is who he is.
