But if we got rnh we would have a alternate left wing or an alt left wing and Trump would love the isles we do have jhs so maybe not. This is a joke people I know everyone has gone full blown idiot recently

Would it make the team better now, help JT to sign, if you traded Barzal for Sutter?

Personally I don't care. It was brought up in Canucks thread and I'd thought I'd get a poll response.

first part, sutter's contract isn't a good one. second, he's injured a LOT.

I'll leave it at that.

In fairness, he's mostly just miscast. Dude's a middle-six winger that's been cast as a 3C his whole career.

Fellas would it help a JT signing if center support was made. That pressure wasn't put on Barzal and he was traded out. Would Sutter help the cause? The boys on Canucks thread were wondering.

Heard Ho Sang interviewed on NHL Radio this morning. Cool dude that definitely marches to his own beat but not taking anything for granted.

When asked if he looks forward to the rivalry with Metro division teams, he said he went undefeated when he played against the Metro last year. Then caught himself and (seriously) asked if Columbus plays in the Metro division. When told yes, he said "oh, we lost to those guys". For whatever reason, I love the fact that he had no idea Columbus is in the Metro.

I would love to read the reaction on these boards if the Islanders were thinking of having a college kid sign and be slotted to start at Center this season (Rangers Kerfoot)... You would all be suicidal and screaming at what a joke Snow was as a gm..etc.

If the Islanders reached the Cup final and conference finals in consecutive seasons in the last 5 years I doubt anyone would worry about that.

I'm a no. Nelson has size, still has more upside and is a 25+goal scorer. Unless we use him to get Duchene he will be our #2 center this year and top 5 point getter.

Bailey Nelson Ho Sang will be our #2 line this year. JHS is plenty creative and a passer. RNH iseems too fragile, (always hurt)

- Spartiarti

I don't think Bailey and Ho Sang should play on the same line. They need to play with shooters.

but they will. Ho Sang shoots quite a bit and Nelson always shoots.
I think its a decent 2nd line.

#CBJ have signed D Doyle Somerby to a two-year entry contract.

Somerby was offered an AHL deal by #Isles, I believe. Gets a 2-year ELC from CBJ.

I thought a lot of teams were in on this guy. Why would Snow only offer a AHL contract. what a tool. How does Columbus still have money to sign guys.

love how snow focuses on AHL first then isles. and best of all we still always sucks at Bridgeport

Bridgeport was actually good last year but their division was awesome and only 4 teams can make it per division so even though they were like 7 or 9 overall they didn't make it

I don't know about that. I think it could be Bailey, Nelson, Ladd. Ho Sang would be on the third line.
