Fellas would it help a JT signing if center support was made. That pressure wasn't put on Barzal and he was traded out. Would Sutter help the cause? The boys on Canucks thread were wondering. |

Would it make the team better now, help JT to sign, if you traded Barzal for Sutter?
Personally I don't care. It was brought up in Canucks thread and I'd thought I'd get a poll response. |

That's a trade that is heavily in Vacouver's favor. Whoever suggested that is crazy. Hard pass on that.

Yeah, tell whomever originated that trade proposal to put the bong down. Not even plausible. |

On top of all the other reasons this trade makes no sense (for the Islanders), Sutter has a no trade clause.

Maybe he's the one player that doesn't have the Islanders on his no trade list.

That paragraph was wayyyyy to long. All it needed was the sentence: "Garth Snow still GM. 'Nuff said." |

Should Nelson be traded for RNH? - bgainesDM
No because then we'd be weak at LW
If we can keep nelson and get a 2C we would have a great forward group. |

I'm a no. Nelson has size, still has more upside and is a 25+goal scorer. Unless we use him to get Duchene he will be our #2 center this year and top 5 point getter.
Bailey Nelson Ho Sang will be our #2 line this year. JHS is plenty creative and a passer. RNH iseems too fragile, (always hurt) |

So the reason he hasn't signed yet ( Said by JT himself ) is there is no stability on where the organization will be playing in 2 years and also the state of the franchise as far as moving in the right direction so that JT can honestly compete for the cup with this team and that, is the 5% that is keeping him from Signing?
I'ld love to know what reasons make up the other 95% thats making him stay. - nyisles7

Umm, as it stands, Nelson is the 2c. He's a center, not a LW. Not sure how they'd be weak at LW by trading Nelson. |
