The guy who sat in front of me at the premiere and wouldn't shut up every time Liv Tyler came on screen...that guy was a boob.

I brought this up in one of the older blogs but neither forward moves the needle enough especially factoring in context. Granted draiasaitl showed it for a bit in mcjesus absence, I still think it's kinda high
- Sabresfan-365

Honestly I think that's all that matters. He's shown he can dominate on his own at 19 years old. Albiet a smaller sample.

IMO, he's eventually at the #2 C spot.

There is no way Eichel gets under 10 IMO. Matthews and Laine too barring a weird drop off.

it's a cap era

which is the better contract?

- homiedclown

Honestly, neither. Both cases based on value to team are a tad high. Ror had a bad 5v5 year trying to carry dead weight with no D support while doing more defensively than most of our defenders playing insane mins for a forward.

If draisiatl is 8.5 jack is 10 easy. The idea these two are comparable is the work of an Edmonton blogger who still thinks kris Russell is a top four d-man
- Sabresfan-365

I hope not, as would like to see him come in around $9 per. Leon was pretty awesome in the playoffs, Edm's best player; though a small sample set

Perhaps. It's entirely possible he plays his way to worth more than that but personally I'm unsure

At various times, he's had carrier and DLO as wingers

Sadly, things aren't looking great for anything much better (pouliot). Hopefully Nylander is ready

So Jack 8 x 9.25?
- jcragcrumple

Leon = 0.7172 pts/game
Pasternack = 0.715116 pts/game
Eichel = 0.795775 pts/game

And Eichel was on the worst team compared to those two. So Eichel should be getting $9.5 or more (wish he would take less, just doubt it)

I'd like him to dominate the preseason and shore up our top 6. Now to wake out of my day dream...

The incoming pasta deal is gunna be way worse. There are far less arguments for him than I could buy for Leon.

See, this is tough though.

We don't know that Pastrnak isnt a guy who can drive scoring, because he's been on a line with 2 star players. Can't really criticize him for that.

Even if he didn't two years ago...he was 19

But the fact that we don't know yet is exactly why you wouldn't pay him 7 mil + no?

Sure but what's the alternative?

If he's willing to sign a bridge deal, you do that, but why would a guy who scored 70 points sign one?

After Mike's tweet we now know the McCabe/Pommer switch with 19 and 29 and we also know Antipin will be wearing 93

Assuming Scandella will wear 6 and I could see Beaulieu going with 8 (maybe 27?). OchoCinco will be back in 31 and Pouliot will be in 67

Question marks remain on Griffith and Josefson and the other guys likely to play in the A this year

They could meet somewhere in the middle? I mean with offer sheets being nothing more than a myth im not sure what his option would be short of sitting out a year like a Richard.
