well this is an unexpected development. makes the whole "who plays center vs. wing" issue not so much an issue.

well maybe not. Hischier seems to be the only guy locked to play center, I would imagine. Then we have 2 spots for 3 guys. Zacha, McLeod, Henrique. hm hm hm.

Losing Zajac for 4-6 months is a decent blow to this team tho. The faceoffs, stability, defense.. and Hall-Zajac-Palmieri was a decent line last year.
This combined with no D should almost guarantee a top 5 pick.. unless Zacha and Nico set the world on fire or something.

I want them to try Zacha on the first line

Boyle is going to get a bunch of faceoffs to start the season maybe Rico can take that top line C roll

Yikes our youngsters are about to get thrown to the wolves. Can't wait for zajac to come back.
