He has always disliked Morin and been high on Lindblom. I gotta give him credit for Lindblom though. He was on him very early.

People will get all upset by his list, but it's just one guy's opinion. He didn't even have Ghost in his top 100 the year before he broke into the NHL.

Personally, I like that his list is different than others. I think much of the NHL is very susceptible to group-think.

Also, it's not like he's down on the Flyers farm system. He has them ranked #1 in team rankings.

I'm fine with divisive rankings -- Button's can be that -- but I don't care for Pronman because he has no center to his scouting. Constantly contradicts himself and makes weird choices that seem super bait-y just to be bait-y. Plus a lot of recency bias that borders on forgetfulness. It's not even the "oh small guy! skillz!" thing -- he contradicts himself there too constantly. If he was consistent in his evaluation, I'd at least not mind as much. It's so arbitrary.

He has been high on Lindblom. But he had him higher ranked before he actually broke out to have his historic SHL season that should've bumped him considerably. He proved him right! Then he ranks him lower. What? I watch a ton of prospects. What he writes makes no sense to me half the time, and it's beyond just a difference of opinion.

I definitely get the sense he values skill over size, which is a nice change from the regular evaluators. He does jump all over the place though.

I tend to think the NHL is the hardest league to put together a list like this. There is only so much time in a day to watch film and evaluate stats. The video, for a lot of these games, isn't even good and the stats are pretty weak too.

But he contradicts himself on the skill thing too. You know I don't intrinsically value size as a cover-all for other deficiencies......but I don't intrinsically value being skilled with a puck if you think the game poorly or don't give me pro vibes (I think Pronman does; I think he gets blinded by highlight type stuff like someone with a mediocre eye does). There's only so much time, but it's his jorb.

If I made a list, any list, I think you would see some order to it and understand what I place value in. Pronman has zero order. He values skill......and then has Sanheim behind......too many names to list, who aren't all that skilled, meanwhile he is dynamic and put up historic numbers. (frank), he has Bean at like 20, and I like him, but he is not as good as Sanheim. I'm as big a Myers fan as there is and an early adopter, but how is there a 40 spot difference? Unless, which is what is exceedingly likely, he significantly and lazily weighs WJC and international tournaments. This is a guy who loves dynamic types and doesn't pay attention to size and thinks Samuel Girard is a top 30 prospect......and he did not have Ghost in his top 100 a few months before his rookie year. He flings poop.

Didn't even take the time to read it, just wrote, "Please do not contact me again. Thank you." He wrote back with something that I'm sure was super witty, just deleted it without reading.

I don't know about you, but why would you keep writing/posting to people when you know they're not even going to take the time to read what you write? There are certain people who feel like that towards me (I can understand why) so I just leave them alone like a big boy.

I learned from my last ban not to deal (sink to that level) with the one that lives in a TH.
I enjoy bantering with fans of the club and have heated debates at times but bottom line is we all love the Flyers and want to win a (frank)ing cup nothing else!

Absolutely this. Loved how everyone in Pittsburgh stood up thinking it was going to to be 3-0. Suckers.
