Brian Boucher?!

Oh God.

Flash in the pan that fell apart once he had competition from a European (remind you all of anyone?).

Every offseason I'd cringe thinking, Good lord Holmgren's going to bring Boucher back, and most offseasons I was right.

Now, we're stuck with him on CSN.

Brian Boucher. Yikes.

Couple cool stories about Barry Tobobonung....His death happened on the Parry Island, an Indian reserve.... which is in Northern Ontario just outside Parry sound, Home of Terry Crisp and Bobby Orr. My Uncle had a cottage on the reserve for years, infact my late cousin married Barry's cousin. probably like 15-20 years ago my mens team was in a tournament up in Parry sound and we were set to play against a local team....I saw Barry in lobby before the game and sure enough he remembered me from my summers up at the cottage.....at this time Barry was a big boy, and a few of my buddies asked who's that guy you were talking with? I explained how good this guy was from his day's in the OHL and his days as an allstar in the former IHL. They laughed and thought I was kidding....we got smoked 6 or 7 to 2....Barry scored like 4 goals while playing D and simply played at a different speed. Keep in mind most of the guys on my team played Jr. some where or at least at a decent level, yet he was still that good.... extremely sad when he died, guy was mr. popularity on Parry Island.

It's $21,000,000 per season starting in 18-19 to be exact.

But they should be worth it. If Patrick puts up a 70+ point season at age 21 I won't whine about how much the Flyers have to pay him.

Overrated 90s sitcom starred racist named Michael Richards, who was in the movie Airheads, who had that chick with the amazing legs.

Add in Nugent Hopkins and Lucic and that is $33,000,000 for 4 players. Sekera makes it 38.5 for 5 players.

Granted, they are some studly players minus Lucic....and very young.

I checked the math and McDavid + Draisaitl will only be $21m, same as Kane and Toews. I know which two guys I'd rather have going forward.

14 million in cap space (lets say 16 million if it goes up) and 13 guys signed

I think Edmonton is in a much better position to sell off assets and alleviate cap space down the line then Chicago ever was.

Minus the Russell contract, that is unforgivable.

They should've traded for MacDonald at 50%. Much cheaper.
