I can't really imagine any other team (including KHL) offering him that kind of coin.
So I hope you are right about mutual termination, but if I were him, I probably wouldn't do it.

It sounds like he has lot's of interest from the KHL (that came from his agent so take that for what it's worth) so it wouldn't surprise me if he made more, seems unlikely he would agree to terminate his contract to make less.
