Not a bad choice, but we also got Amonte towards the tail end of his career, although we had him for a season and a quarter, and he was productive.

I'd still take Jagr, mostly for the effect he had on Giroux.

- jmatchett383

What about the effect Amonte had on Roenick? What about Amonte actively getting Alex Zhamnov I need here because we weren't sure if Primeau or Roenick could come back? I was a big fan of the Black Hawks Down line.

Man, if the Bruins want to pull a Bruins move and trade David Pastrnak, not that it's more than Brian "Botox" Lawton rumor......what would you give up for him? He'd be beyond perfect to be the future young star winger this team needs long-term. It would be so very very Bruins to trade Pastrnak for Simmonds+Morin or something.

Also, we need to get Stamkos.

Edit: I'd take Lupul or Kapanen over Amonte, personally.

Jagrs effect on Giroux and Jake is why he made my list

Not willing to do that if it takes away the cap space we need to trade for Bobby Ryan.

Thanks everyone, I think I have something in the works at a local hospital so we'll see about that. I've been there for 5 years as a tech so they better bring me on!

I would still take Bobby Ryan. He willed his play to another level this past playoffs and was pretty clutch. I hate his new deal but I think G and Ryan would be great together.

I'd rather the Flyers go after another former first overall: Yakupov. I'm thinking Sanheim+1st would do it.

Love the list but still think Sami K has to have a place on there, Few if any in the last 25 years put more heart and effort into every shift. The Philly fan base from that era surely loved him despite having lesser scoring numbers than some others on the list, That boy bled Orange and Black when he was here.

Jagrs effect on Giroux and Jake is why he made my list
- BiggE

This is nothing personal to those who hold a special place in their heart for the Jagr effect because that was a fun season. With this said, the Jagr effect was overrated. Giroux was an awesome player long before Jagr got here and the Flyers have had questionable leadership long after Jagr left. Nobody was stopping Jagr from sticking around and being a good influence here.

cool, double Hartnell!

I can't think of any one else I would replace these guys, but we have 2 hartsy's and I could slide Jags into the lower Hartsy slot.

I do see what you did there. I can't rate Jags year here over Forsberg. I live in SWFL and got to see a lot of games in person. He belonged on the first line and his scoring was strong. Last year he played all the game and Barkov and Hueby were out a ton.
He played well with who ever they stuck with him. He drove play and had strong possession numbers.
