A lot of DC was burned but miraculously enough, a raging storm put out all the fires and saved the city from being fully raized.

They literally burned Buffalo to the ground. From History.com: "A solitary cat wandering the ruins was the only living thing left in Buffalo. All that remained standing were the stone jail, Reese’s blacksmith shop and the house of Margaret St. John [which was intentionally left standing by the British]."

I don't know who was saying that, but Matthews is not "reliable". He's always dealing with something and is always(like a third of the time) 50/50 to play. At least the past 2 years I've had him in fantasy leagues.
