What's yours? A Ranger must be on the list?
- Peter.Tessier

I'm not... A Rangers fan, though..?

Its pretty obvious one of these two doesn't watch the Eastern Conference very often. Krug and Risto? Let alone Werenski over Jones. C'mon Eklund a little oversight here!

Brady Skjei has already scored 4 playoff goals

I don't think Ristolainen will score 4 playoff goals his whole career

4. Erik Karlsson
5. John Carlson

Honorable Mentions: Seth Jones; Matt Niskanen

Dishonorable Mention: Peter Tessier

Spot on. Mentions Risto and hell even Schultz on the penguins but doesn't mention the far better penguin Kris Letang. Clearly not an 'easy' task or he's just dense.

#4 Krug- Doing this lists you start seeing a lot of Bruins showing up and considering the heat management has taken they have some great players- Krug is a stud and consistent.
- Tessier

Unfortunately as the Jets should know, having great players doesn't mean much when the results (playoffs) aren't there. Management should be taking heat.

I considered putting Letang or Schultz on my list, but Letang is oft-injured and that makes him less valuable, and IMO Schultz just benefit from his injuries.

My list is based on their entire game. While Karlsson is a much better defender than he ever has been, he wouldn't be on the ice ahead of the Top-3 guys on my list, if we're trying to hold a 1-goal lead.

the last game of the playoffs for Ottawa, game 7 vs Pittsburgh, Karlsson played with a significant injury, played 39:33, no other player on either team was even close in minutes

Karlsson plays in every situation and excels

I like Skjei a lot, but he's better at getting his shots through and throwing hits... That's about it. Production's pretty similar.

Skjei threw 147 hits to Slavin's 35... which is a lot, but...

Slavin blocked 92 more shots, had 66 more takeaways and only three more giveaways while playing 6 more minutes per night.

Skjei just finished his rookie season, his rookie season pretty much blew Slavin's away
