I don't think he'll be a "saviour" but I also don't think his ppg in the KHL is laughable neither.

Zaitsev got .56ppg (36 in 46GP) in the KHL 2015-16. He then scored .43ppg (36 in 82GP).
If Jerabek can do something similar, he could potentially replace most of Markov's points at a fraction of the cap hit. |

Jerabek had similar KHL #s to Zaitsev who scored 36 pts last year... same as Markov, only for 5M$ less. Now isolate him with Weber and play Benn in his spot in critical defensive situations.
Also, about Sekac, he had Therrien as coach, not Julien. |
