I was fine with heights, until I fell off my parents roof while painting.. Big house.. Long way down.

I've worked at heights for almost ten years now. Seen some crazy, and stupid things in that time. It's not for everyone and that's the first thing I tell new guys when they start. You're not less of a man if this scares you, but you are a danger to yourself and to me if you aren't honest about being afraid.

I was almost less of a man when I fell off the (frank)in roof. Fell,, bounced off one roof, then fell 18 ft.. covered in paint and cut to shiit on my knees and elbows where I bounced off the small roof.. Now, I hate heights.. At least while you are at work you have safety equipment, harnesses, etc.. I was wearing shorts and a pair of flip flops..

Still have the scares.

I was almost less of a man when I fell off the (frank)in roof. The thing is nobody wears that stuff. And if they are wearing a harness they aren't usually tied off. The biggest thing you need with heights is common sense.
