Who is #3 is up for debate IMO

Howe was the 1st prototypical power forward & ambidextrous at that.
A physical specimen ahead of his time even at 52 when be finally retired.
In his 32nd season he still had 41 pts in 80 NHL games.
After he retired in '71 he returned 2yrs later to the WHA to protect his sons.
Only to score 100 pts then 99 then 102.

We are obviously in the trump era when opinion has more weight than fact.

but I've often thought that D and forwards should be judged diffently, I mean where do goalies fit in the greatest player ever debate? How can you reasonably say brodeur isnt better than gretzky or vice versa.....how could you tell? All 3 should have a separate category. I don't feel they should be mixed
