Does anyone actually listen to radio stations anymore? Pandora is really the best thing for music now. - mdw7413
I've been listening to 103.3 WPRB since 1984. Pretty much the only music station I listen to. Being a college station, never know what you are in for. Sometimes I can't stand it, other DJs play some real gems. Otherwise audio books and podcasts.
Also enjoying the free XM subscription in the work Leaf. Listen to NHL radio a lot, that should end right around the time the season starts.

Hey, I'm not going to judge. I am currently listening to the Best of Bread while I work. Just finished Jim Croce's Greatest Hits. #oldman
Thank God they let me stream while I'm doing my drawings!! - Tonybere
Bread?
I walked by a Jim Croce album the other day and was struck by how much he looks like G with a 'stache.
Check out Balmorhea, I can get lost in that for hours.

No idea what Bread is. Thought Tony was listening to a cooking show.

I absolutely love Bread. David Gates is a genius. - jimbro83
The last time I heard Bread was around 1984 when I bought the Best of Bread at a yard sale for a quarter. I felt ripped off and gave it to my neighbor.
Well, it's been over 30 years, so maybe I'll give them another chance.

Too each his own, my friend. I checked out one of the links you posted the other day. I forget what it was, but it was HEAVY. I have gotten into some heavier stuff over the years, but lately I'm easy... like Sunday morning, some would say.

Yeah, I go to extremes.
Meant to ask if you are a fellow bass player the other day.
Balmorhea is from Texas. Acoustic guitar and piano on their first album, then filled it out for their 2nd album. Mellow introspective music, I refer to them as Modern Classical. I'll put their catalog on in the garage from my ipod on Saturday night and get lost filing an axe head for hours.
I was in North Carolina on a golf trip back in my early 20's. We were out for dinner with some girls we met. The one girl said, "Y'all say "eh" a lot!" To which I replied, "You just said "Y'all" and you're going to stereotype me!!"
She was pretty damn hot, though.

there isn't anyone around who could possibly listen to more different types of music than me
especially lately I just listen to everything, when I am not working and typing on hockeybuzz I literally never put my guitar down and I try to write my own stuff. Feel like I am influenced by every single thing I hear lately

Nope. I just sing with my band. I always joke that I'm too useless to play anything. Although, we are all busy enough that we haven't even practiced since May!
I played piano and tenor sax as a kid, but didn't practice enough to be able to play anymore. At least I can still read music. Now I have a kid that I have to scream at to practice!! #karma
