Kind of funny considering they traded Sergachev for Drouin... A guy who has never played a game in the NHL for a proven 50+ point getter. Then you turn around and throw a hissy fit when a rumor comes out of a similar style.

Sergachev play 4 games at 18 years old in 2016 in the NHL... don't compare sanheim to Sergachev, i think Sergy will be a sure number 1 pair d-men, we can't said that of Sanheim yet.... and he's older, but thats my opinion...

When Yzerman traded Drouin for Sergechev he was tight against the cap and still had multiple important players to resign. Drouin was the odd man out due to his pending contract and this lessened Yzerman's bargaining position considerably.

Bergevin is nowhere near the cap and is not in the same position. In fact his position would require a return of a top center or NHL proven left side defenseman that is assured to play a big role this coming season not a prospect that has yet to play a game in the NHL. Of course that would require Galchenyuk +++.

The differenc is TB was cap strapped. Habs have $9 million to play with. Personally Hadsbarebnot moving Pacioretty unless a top center comes back and that is not Giroux

I Love this guy, but I think he's stuck in Florida for good.... If I were florida I would never move him such a stud. Got tix to see him play in junior in my hometown.. .he took a puck in the face his first shift.. I was so disappointed... then he came back to start the 2nd with stitches... tough ombre.. wish he was a leaf..

Oh no not a whole 4 games...... You do realize that Sanheim has not had an opporunity to make the Flyers right? Up until now the Flyers have had a logjam at D due to contracts and Hextall is very cautious when it comes to his prospects and prefers to keep them in the minors rather than rushing them. He did the same thing with Gostibehere, he did not make the team 2 years ago and was a call up to give him a taste of the NHL and since that call up he has stuck with the team. Sanheim will likely be with the team this season as well as the possibility of another.

The threshold for Habs fans when it comes to the legitimacy of a prospect/player in trade rumours seems to be whether the player has a nickname bestowed upon them by the club - so as a result, Sergy > Sanheim. Although, I bet they call him Sanny in Philly...so...

Yeah, trading an unproven young commodity for a 6 time 30 goal scorer makes no sense. SMDH. Maybe for MONTREAL it makes no sense. It certainly does for the Flyers, who lack goal scoring so badly.
