I don't think it will happen. Also i don't want to move Sanheim for paciretty. I can only see two names that the Habs would want in the win now mode. Giroux and Simmonds and i can't see any good trades to make it work.

Don't believe the Flyers want Pacioretty at all, makes zero sense. He has 2 years left on a deal paying him 4.5 million per I believe, then he'll want a bigger payday at 30. No thanks. Sanheim can be one of 2 or3 kids coming up on D that can be top pairing, in the next year or so. Flyers aren't a Pacioretty away from being a cup contender ! I dont see the Flyers being a serious playoff team for a couple,three years from now and Pacioretty might not even be here then.

If Eklund had half a brain, he'd realize that the trading season has ended.

Teams aren't trying to trade at this point of the off-season. The only things that teams do at this point is add a free agent who were holding out for a good deal in free agency but didn't get picked up and now are in search for a job.

I never take anything Eklund says seriously except for the sources that he actually mentions because I've actually heard from others that the Leafs and Rangers were in discussions for Bozak. Reportedly going to the Leafs was Nick Holden but the Leafs rejected the offer.

Kind of funny considering they traded Sergachev for Drouin... A guy who has never played a game in the NHL for a proven 50+ point getter. Then you turn around and throw a hissy fit when a rumor comes out of a similar style.
