Plenty of people are counting on 1 of the jets projected 2 or 3 wins to come against the bills. I don't see how that could possibly happen. Yeah the Bills aren't great but I don't see how that happens. Look at that receiving corps and then remember Josh mccown is throwing to them
- jcragcrumple

True
We should definitely win those games
But they did beat us twice last year
A couple big played by them & a couple turnovers by us and it's anyone's game... happens every year

probably

heard botts was firm that any trade had to be done by training camp

may be a moving part one way or another added (small piece)

but it's ror and kane and a pick for extended jt

skunk not in conversation

and that's why the over/under is at 6 wins. Can't even project 2 wins against the worst team in football

I heard ROR, Kane and a 1st for an 8 year extended JT but it needs to be done by training camp

Field the best team possible

pick 106 will not make or break us

- homiedclown

Pick 106 should be a guy who can start for us for years
Holmes is a 3/4 WR

The last 2 years, our 3wr has hauled in less than 500yds each year

The value of a 3rd FAR OUTWEIGHS any value Holmes might provide us for this ONE season

This is a no brainer
He should ABSOLUTELY be cut

So if Mittelstadt was off the table, Nylander and Guhle plus a second? I really don't see any scenario where Buffalo needs a center and is willing to part with important assets for a guy with years left. I could see it if they would take Moulson

Moulson + Nylander and Guhle for Duchene?

- jcragcrumple

I dont think we should be getting rid of Guhle. Could Guhle be worth more (to us) than Duchene? Especially since he is free (already our possession)?

I can see McCabe + Nylander + 2018 1st. Not sure I say yes, but I could see that. The 1st being a gamble that we wont be good (for Colorado).

Giving up too many guys on entry level deals is not something this GM will do. He understands from Pitt that those are the "extra" guys that keep your team winning for years to come. (because of low cap hit or because of trading them for other assets when they are proven)

3 guys signed during Free Agency window. Boldin doesn't count

It won't be Hyde it won't be Porter

Ryan Davis
Vlad Duccasse
Andre Holmes

I want the 3rd, but it really is a bad look if you cut a guy after signing him to a 4 year deal

Plus it's closer to a 4th rd pick than what we view as a 3rd

Yeah pitt seemed more likely to trade picks and players than prospects to put them over the too. We're not at that point yet. If he goes to MTL they will be really good, assuming they only lost picks and prospects. I assume they're out after the druin trade though

For Duchene, only teams with up and coming players is getting that deal done. They would want prospects and maybe a 1st involved. Nothing less than that. Everyone in deal would be under 24-25 years old. Really the player Colorado should be targeting is .... Duchene. That's why that was such a weird rumor to start.

But a lot of second round picks end up in the third round

I'm sure if we look at some third round picks there is some franchise players in there

- GERBE!!!75PTS

Yep, and 7th(or later when there were more than 7 rounds) too. Doesn't mean it's worth it. Also how does Holmes have anything to do with Gilmore?
