It's not as easy as saying "we need a better QB" and having one appear on your doorstep.

There's no guarantee that one that's highly touted coming out of college is the answer either. There's probably been more that have been complete tire fires the last 5 years or so than ones that managed to actually play well. And having a really good one doesn't guarantee the playoffs either.

I think you missed my point. He's making it sound like we should have changed who we have going into this year. Who was out there to be had? He was making it seem like it was so easy to upgrade that position.

I'm not by any means saying the Bills are going to make the playoffs for sure this year, but I don't know that they won't either.
