I'll be honest, I was more worried about the emoji's than the pairings

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think.

I'm sure all the Leafs absolutely love lord Babcock unconditionally. One bumhole said Eichel said he wouldn't re-sign if Bylsma was still here, one guy, so it's obviously gospel. So now Eichel is all of a sudden a huge problem.

Jesus Christ. The Leafs barely eeked into the playoffs on the backs of 7 rookies and now everyone in Leafland knows everything about everything. Give me a (frank)ing break.

It's totally fair to question whether a team with 7 rookies that all played way above what they were expected to can keep it up.

You'd better own a pair of Stan Smith's and Onitsuka Tiger 'Mexico 66' in white.

Classic

- walshyleafsfan

I owned Stan Smiths (white w green trim) first time around in 1980 and 1982. Now I have them in pure black but with white rubber.

My kid doesn't think I'm cool enough to wear them.

Eichel clearly furious. Said too many guys in the room simply happy to be in the league. Part of the culture that needs change. CLEARLY A TEAM GUY. Ya think guys wanna play with a guy who PUBLICLY through s his teammates under the bus. if that was true don t air dirty laundry. eichal did that. and thems the facts sorry.

Lehner said the exact same stuff. ROR as well. Gionta wasn't exactly blowing smoke either.

ROR used the word "pathetic" in terms of effort a few times last year.

Eichel just got the headlines because he is who he is.

Thank you, come again.

In all fairness, the Leafs are mos def trending upwards into a very good Hockey team. But to expect a constant steady progression isnt realistic. Sophomore slumps are a real thing, injuries happen, and that defence is one injury away from spotty at best. Now, I do think they are deeper and more talented than Buffalo and will probably beat the off of a playoff spot, but you never know.
Look at Edmonton. People are expecting improvements over last year based on young players progressing alone.
Out: Eberle, Hendricks, Sekeras ( injured)
In: Strome, some spaz from France I never heard of.

How is this team better than last years?

- Larsson_fan

Congrats Larsson, finally something we agree on. A lot went right for the Leafs last year, like a ton, big amount. Huge. Every player on the team had a career year. Not happening again.

Sabres ticket in has got to be top 3 in the division. Metro is too tough. TBL's star power and exceptional coach scare me. Montreal, meh, I didn't think they would be good last year and they were. Bruins' legacy for lack of a better term makes me think they'll be right there along with Sabres and insert any other team in the division here. Weak division, Sabres can capitalize. Gooda shot as any other team sans TBL.

I have a feeling we're getting IIHF Worlds ROR this year. I never had my appendix removed, but can imagine how sore his core must've been trying to play after that. Gonna be playing like he has an axe to grind. Hopefully Pommer has a little magic left in the tank. We'll get to find out if Risto can equal Josi. Let's friggin see it.

What? Or they felt they underachieved and didn't skirt it with stupid ass platitudes like NHLers are "supposed" to.

Once again the Leafs who are finally starting to look up after being the main laughingstock of the league for the last 50 years gets up on his high horse calling other kettles black.

I'd make my season ticket money back selling 3 or 4 games to suckers from the GWN too. I'm including Canadiens fans in this as well.

lol. I have. And always see them leaving Buffalo with a loss. Even after the Leaf fans pay for the season tickets that the Sabre fans bought while selling them the Toronto game tickets.

Honest question...Is KingGilmour still around your thread? He owes me $2000 to a charity of my choice on a bet he lost.

flip bogo and antipin

- homiedclown

I hope you're right. If antipin deserves second pair, and Bogo is on the third, we're in really good shape. Pach's article a couple weeks back about the balanced D from the last few Ruffs years could be a good comparable
