agreed

habs take a big step back IMO

my biggest questions

1. the leafs
2. panthers

- homiedclown

yes .....yes by all means, the leafs have obviously gotten much worse than last year and the Sabres much much better. should easily knock off the leafs. leafs are definitely trending down. Sabres prospect pool big time deeper. Adding marleau and having liljegren drop to them has obviously sent them spiraling down out of control!!! At least i can objectively say the sabres should be better. provided they avoid the injury pitfalls of last yr. I personally don 't like eichal . nothing to do with him being a sabre or based on his skill. i think hes more of a problem than a help and based on his high skill level. thats saying something. gotta say hes now taken on a lot of responsibility through his actions. its all on him now. and God help him if he doesn't deliver cause i have heard and seen what you sabres fans do to people that don't.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think.

I'm sure all the Leafs absolutely love lord Babcock unconditionally. One bumhole said Eichel said he wouldn't re-sign if Bylsma was still here, one guy, so it's obviously gospel. So now Eichel is all of a sudden a huge problem.

Jesus Christ. The Leafs barely eeked into the playoffs on the backs of 7 rookies and now everyone in Leafland knows everything about everything. Give me a (frank)ing break.

It's totally fair to question whether a team with 7 rookies that all played way above what they were expected to can keep it up.

In all fairness, the Leafs are mos def trending upwards into a very good Hockey team. But to expect a constant steady progression isnt realistic. Sophomore slumps are a real thing, injuries happen, and that defence is one injury away from spotty at best. Now, I do think they are deeper and more talented than Buffalo and will probably beat the off of a playoff spot, but you never know.
Look at Edmonton. People are expecting improvements over last year based on young players progressing alone.
Out: Eberle, Hendricks, Sekeras ( injured)
In: Strome, some spaz from France I never heard of.

How is this team better than last years?

He doesn't, his atrocious pairing mates do. Which drags him down.

Risto plays the right side and in this chart the right side is the only side doing its (frank)ing job and since risto plays almost half the game that's mostly his work.

No, he still gets killed. It's just not a tire/fire I let guys walk around me killed.

It's more of I have no idea how to defend the blue line or clear the zone killed

I've seen a graph that says Gorges was good so I have no idea what to think of those anymore

Yeah, but again, it's not all on him. Inept pair mates like Gorges jerking off in the corner isn't helping him in the slightest. There are also 3 forwards who should be helping in clearing the zone. It's a team effort.

Implying you have more than one? Are you compensating for something?

You need to re read that thinking of him as a flamboyant man who likes penis in his mouth. Then you will get it

That's the blue line chart right ?

That's literally the only one I have ever seen that is favorable to Gorges.

Which he isn't that bad at

What do all you big brained people think the D pairings will be next year?

Start of the year(hopefully they can get rid of one of Gorges/Bogo. Best case both):

McCabe Risto
Scandella Bogo
Beaulieu Antipin
Gorges

Antipin will hopefully outplay Bogo and be moved up before long. Scandella may also move up depending on his play/chemistry with Risto. They'll all get ice time with each other to find out who plays well with whom.

Doesn't Beaulieu play the left and Antipin play the right?

I'm guessing the ambulance is Bogo.

Honestly the first time I saw Super Troopers I thought it was kind of dumb. Then I saw it again at a friends house and everything kind of fell into place. Plus you were like 5 when it came out. It was really made for that moment in time and for people from 15-30/35. And if you ask the younger range to watch it now it seems dumb and quaint.

It's a rare movie that truly stands the test of time, even 5 years later.

Scandella starts on the first pair unless he has a terrible camp imo.

I would not be shocked if the leafs won the division
