He'd get my vote. Consistently good for so long, leads the franchise in goals and assists, and was fun to watch.

Seems like just yesterday Elisa was the new kid in the organization. Can't believe it's all over. He certainly deserves to have his jersey retired and his name in the rafters.

I've always felt he would have gotten more recognition had Lou kept the A-Line together because he was just awesome with Arnott and Sykora. Great guy and a great career.

As for Brylin, no. But I wouldn't mind some type of honor for him and several great Devils. John Madden was the epitome of Devils hockey and it would be nice to embrace our heritage. Even if it's just names on a wall somewhere it would be cool.

Daneyko just doesn't always know what's going on and doesn't seem to think well on his feet. That's why he was OK in between period: it was more scripted. Whatever, jesus it must be slow if THIS is what we're talking about!

I remember when I was in the second grade, I went to the turtle back zoo with my friends family. For those that don't know what that is, it's across the parking lot from South Mountain Arena, where the devils practice(d). After the zoo, we went across the street to Mickey D's and guess who was there...a crew of Scott Stevens, Scott Gomez and Patrik Elias. The Scott's were cool and all, but Patrik was the nicest guy. He chatted with my friend and I for a long time.

That's pretty funny because I always thought he was a homer until I heard him doing a (non Ranger) Devil's game and thought he was really good.

I've met Steve Cangialosi and he's a very nice knowledgeable guy. He's just not fun to listen to. The Devils need broadcasters to enhance the game, not make it more boring.
