I can't see the Flyers getting Provorov signed for less than $6m AAV, but I'm OK with that if it's an eight year deal.

I'd expect Hextall to want to get that done next summer to rule out any possibility of him going back to the KHL when he's an RFA like there apparently is with Zadorov.

- Feanor

Id be surprised to see Provorov go to the KHL since he's been in North America since he was 14. That being said, I'd be happy to see him sign a 6M x 8 year deal if he continues to trend towards the Flyers first elite home grown defenseman in...how many years?

So far we have completed Living Thing, Telephone Line, Do Ya, Strange Magic, Sweet Talkin Woman, Turn To Stone, Evil Woman.

Getting ready to tackle Don't Bring Me Down, and Mr. Blue Sky hoping we don't run out of voices to cover all the overlapping three part harmonies. That song is insane lol

love the food in NOLA

cant think of a worst meal of the top of my head...would probably say during the same trip as my best meal, a couple places we wanted to go were closed or full so in a pinch we ended up just going to a place in Rome that was open. Was so underwhelming compared to all the other food we had, and it just sucked to be eating there knowing we were in a city with tons of amazing restaurants

In China, I was served the head of a sea snake. It was given to me as a sign of respect, why I don't know, but it tasted like dirt and feces both had thrown up.
I felt like a kid I kept throwing food under the table when nobody was looking. I felt bad for the cleaning crew. there had to be about 10 courses I threw under that table.
Same trip ate chicken feet ducking disgusting!! Worst food ever!

The best way to keep a player happy and continuing to come to the rink? Win.

Fair enough, it's all subjective. The only thing that was set in stone for me was Kerr at #1.
- BiggE

I still would like Wayne to look at some film of Kerr and see where he posted up and tried/had to fight for space and if he could even capture 25% extra Kerresqueness into his game would be a bonus.

Its pretty good. I remember seeing Alex Lifeson interviewed about it when it first came out. He decided to be Lifeson and play this counter riff to the song instead of trying to compete with all the other egos wanking off. And you can pretty much hear his part throughout the the whole song.

For those who have issues accessing the site via mobile phone, as I have, this is not too promising for the issue. From Ek's blog.

What the Ek? ... Are you aware of the redirect issue on your site when on mobile?
If so, any plans to fix?

Ek:

we hear about it, but can’t seem to replicate it on our end and i honestly check the site via mobile dozens of times a day and have never seen it. maybe email me screenshots you are getting. I don’t doubt it is happening but nothing on our end seems to be doing it.

The conjecture about Ek's website issues regarding redirecting I believe are largely unfounded and rooted in a few posters hyperbolic responses. Ek and hockeybuzz do not have any technical problems any more than your average forum website

Haha, yep, just like the Phillies and the wrong brothers, here are a few:

Ken Brett, instead of George
Jeremy not Jason Giambi
Mark not Al Leiter

I also think we had a DiMaggio not named Joe and probably a few others I am missing...

It's a tough order for 2 reasons. Wayne may be tough as nails, but he will never have anywhere near the brute strength of Kerr, nor can anyone be taught Kerr's unbelievably quick shot release. Wayne has pretty successful on the pp, I wouldn't change his game at all.

Yup, it's cool to check out. Also take the ghost tour, it's a pretty neat place to check out at night and you get to meet Robbie the Doll.

Simmonds has to work within the PP structure the Flyers have in place. In the umbrella formation, Simmonds had his assigned area of positioning. Kerr was a sniper with an unbelievable wrist shot and quick release. There isn't anything wrong with Simmonds will to fight for space and the puck. Trying to emulate Kerr would be a bad decision. Just aren't the same kind of player.
