It gives the Canes a reprieve of a couple more years |

President said today that 2016-2017 is the first time in the Canes history that they turned a profit without making the playoffs.
Season Ticket renewals were up a bit and a slight increase in new season tickets so far, but biggest thing has been sponsorships are WAY up compared to what was there in the past. Part of that is credited just to the growth of Raleigh and the area. |

Season Ticket renewals were up a bit and a slight increase in new season tickets so far, but biggest thing has been sponsorships are WAY up compared to what was there in the past. Part of that is credited just to the growth of Raleigh and the area.

Probably. Will say that even though attendance numbers look a lot uglier than they used to, it's mostly due to the team no longer giving away so many comp tickets to local businesses every night.
Now the butts in the seats are actually in the seats, not just freebies that aren't actually used. |

bullsh!t false economy. Bottom (30th) in league attendance If they made money it was because all the transfer payments from the real teams put them in the black.
But I call bullsh!t on your news anyways - see list attached. As mentioned Carolina is bottom of the heap - Dead Last, worse than Arizona and Florida - which is pathetic.

Faulk is gone in 2019-2020.
It makes sense with the guys coming up. Sell the older, expensive guy and bet on your youth.

I would think Leafs would have interest in Jake Bean- even though he is LHD, Straight up for jvr would make sense for both teams. Faulk is probably worth more than JVR at this point and he will be looking for a raise. Bean would be a better fit financially for Leafs. |

I'm not sayin I'm for this or not but, IF LL is looking to make a deal for a RHD FLA has 5 on the roster ATM. Ekblad I think is a pipe dream but Demers is very feasible. |
