Yeah, he was brought up before he re-signed. I think he is too much of a one-way player, especially if the plan is to have Kessel on the third line. I want the new 3C to defend well. He also doesn't play PK and seems to be more of a goal scorer than a facilitator.
For all the grief that Sakic gets, I think Bergevin is worse (as is Holland) and can be taken in a trade. I just wouldn't want Galchenyuk. - T-Train
MIN just signed some big paydays and are pushing the cap. Would anyone trade Sheary & Rust plus/minus a pick for Eric Staal? Staal could be a good fit for the Pens and is a facilitator and can play PK. MIN needs RW and only has about $4.5M left and needs to sign one RFA and sign another forward. This would give them 2 for 1. I understand this would make the Pens need one of their wingers to step up, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hags-E. Staal-Kessel as a 3RD line option! |

Nope. I think the combination of Sheary and Rusty are worth more than just Staal to the Pens. Sheary is good. No need to trade him. We always look for wingers for Crosby and we found one. Let's not trade him for a 3C. |

Entertainment is subjective. I think Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam are the best ever based on personal preference. But I know they aren't the biggest names ever nor are they the inventors of their styles. - RafiDRW
Pink Floyd
I haven't seen anybody mention John Carpenter's "The Thing". Early 80's special effects, but good sci-fi movie. |

I was going to mention this in my post, but I saw him performing The Wall on tv recently... It was amazing. Amazing. Couldn't imagine how great it would be to see it live. |

Is argue that Pink Floyd is so unique that they kind of did invent what they do. Also I don't care what anyone says, Pink Floyd had the first legit concept album. |

Good call on carpenter, vampires was sick. 30 days of night is a good one. I might throw on 'it comes at night' later after reading some of these |

he's fantastic, seen Dark Side and The Wall, but disappointing to hear his new show is bringing overtly strong political overtones(and yes I get The Wall album), I dont care what side youre on, the toxic vitrol is getting old and everyone participating is a part of the problem. I hope Im wrong when he comes to my town in October.
Anyway, enjoy the show, the dark side stuff is awesome |

Think they really just wanted a guy to bring some leadership in and were willing to pay whatever it took to get it, as long as it was just cash.
Could be that Williams provides the fun-loving kick-in-the-ass the team needs. - BINGO!
It might be the powers that be wanted a guy that's won a couple of Cups to be able to guide the inexperienced guys around & settle them when they start getting loose?
Here's a question, who was the last Cup champs that didn't have a player that already won a cup? |

Movies???
There's an old Aussie flick with Mel Gibson called Gallipoli - very significant war film for us as so many lives were lost. It's not a true story as such, but the history is followed & it's a great film. Another is Breaker Morant from the Bore war.
Usual Suspects is 1 if not my all time favourite. Ronan which was filmed around Provence at stages through the film. Heat was great. Cinquième élément superbe.
Alien was pretty awesome. Long Good Friday, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance kid, Braveheart.
What was that gee up film - Blair witch or some poop?? Didn't see all of it but looked pretty good for a while.
Edit: The Exorcist has to be the most scariest mutha (frank)ing film made - I still haven't seen the whole film.
Another 1 Horror - I cried through the Wizard of Oz. scared the poop out of me ((frank)ing wicked witch of the (frank)ing everywhere go (frank) yourself ). I was only about 4 or 5 I think. Didn't even get to see the wizard - (frank)ing witches! |

I couldn't give a flying (frank) about most musicians personal lives. Especially someone who fronted my favo it's band of all time. I still go to Ted Nugent concerts despite his insane, stupid views. I'm just really excited for it being the Wall concert. |

Darryl Sydor had already nabbed one in 99 with Dallas, Tim Taylor in 97 with Detroit, Lukowich in 99 with Dallas, Dinger in 2001 with Colorado.. not sure about the B's tho. |

No idea. Canes have 10 Stanley Cups on the roster, spread out amongst 7 players now. |
