I can agree with this to a point

8-12 goalie

very good, not special cept for that one season
longevity makes him better then he really is in some eyes, and worse in others

The good thing he did was stay in that 8-12 range for a long time.

A lot of goalies are great for 2-3 years, terrible for 2-3 years etc.

Miller probably was never top 3-5 outside of his Vezina year.

Just solid, and reliable for 60+ games.

Hell, I'll admit I over rated him 8 years ago
