3 years is not long term. There will be many teams next year asking for his service when he becomes a free agent. He is cheap he is fast and he can play on any line.

All good points…I guess he most likely would want some kind of term anyways. Doubt he would sign a one year deal.

He wouldn't sign a one year deal.

It is no big deal if he signs somewhere else. He just happens to be one of my favorite all time Canucks right behind Burrows. Burrows has turned old but I feel Hansen still has a lot to offer . He plays a complete game and was one of the team leaders. WD was pissed when he left and a lot of reporters said he was a leader in the dressing room.

Like I said no big deal if he signs somewhere else but I would not be upset if he came back for a bit.

It was all on me. That simple hockey nickname didn't click. Just hope he shows up ready to play and can generate some offense.

That wouldn't be the best way to battle the apathy the team is experiencing.

That is my point. Why complain about fans not being able to let players go and then advocate bringing back a former player.

He's going to get more then 3m, maybe as low as 3.5 and he'll be looking at his lat contact so he'll most Lilly be looking for more term. Might get him at 3 if you offered 6 years, 3.25 at 5, 3.6 ast 4 years or 4m at 3 years.
Thats how is value him anyways.
Higher then Gagner.

Good utility guy for the reg. season but like a lot of players too soft for the PO's. As we saw in SJ.

Team game, you need guys to show up every night.

I dunno where I stand with resigning Hansen.

Depends how many other players we are committed to. the usual salary/term.

We need a younger honey badger in the lineup, maybe Lockwood?
