I could see JT Miller, Graves (or Day, not sure whos the better prospect), and a 1st (probably a camp dump in there too)...wouldnt love it but wouldnt hate it

thats if you guys are being dinks and dont want to give up Skjei

- DDM-Coga

We love being dinks, and to me, Skjei is a non-starter, especially with Duchess already making $6 mil and a UFA in two seasons.

No doubt that's market value these days, although his career .67 ppg says otherwise...

Meh. I get what you're saying, but taking a look at the list of guys with a ppg of .667 and higher for their career shows a list of pretty amazing players. I feel like I should say that there are exceptions on that list, but considering they don't include anyone with fewer than 500 games played I guess maybe that's just a perception issue.

Makes Johansen the 8th highest paid C in the NHL.

He's the 21st most productive C in the NHL over the last 3 years.

Can't really go by that though. Have to go by comparables of contracts recently.

Oh I know. I'm just saying that, relative to his production, it's likely a bit of an overpayment.

JT, Graves, a 1st and a salary dump for Duchene? where do i sign up? I would trade JT and any one of our prospects other than: Day, Andersson, Chytil, Gropp, or Sheshtorkin along with a #1 for Duchene any day of the week.

True, but if you're Nashville can't let your number 1 center walk. I wish I knew what one of those was.

Almost identical #'s as MacKinnon, but imho Johansen is not a proper legit 1C - MacKinnon is...!

The difference between Stepan and Johansen is .05 points per game.
