I love McD. Just think we need to think about what we're looking to do when he's 30 and up for a new contract in 2 years. Business decisions and what's best for the team have nothing to do with whether or not I like a guy. Not something we have to think about though until next season

I could see him being dealt next summer for a big return. The left side looks promising with Skjei/Day/Graves/Berezgalov/Smith moving back if he had to etc.

Zib can play #1 minutes - he has the talent, just needs the drive/opportunity. Hayes is our defacto #2 because he is the 2nd most talented. you discount Andersson becuase he is all potential but then you say we have so many Dmen with potential. We only have 4 good Dmen - McD, Shatty, Smith, and Skjei. the rest are at best promising.

I didn't think Clendening was bad. He's not a top pair guy but he could be a great 3rd pair option for a team. Suprised he hasn't settled in somewhere yet instead of bouncing around like he has. I know he had a problem with AV benching him, maybe he's a locker room problem?

Clendening is just too small and not talented enough. if he were as fast as Karlson he may have a chance, but he is not. He is a 7th Dman.

I don't know if it's the light or they have some kind of internal clock remembering that there was ONE TIME I was up at 5am and was nice and fed them so now it must happen everyday for the rest of their lives
