I can't decide if the "don't take a plane" joke is a fat joke or a 9/11 joke.

Look, I'll end the controversy now. I made a mistake leaving HB in 2013. There were some things happening in my personal life that scrambled my thinking a bit. And yes, I thought I could make a successful site. I was wrong. Well, sort of wrong. The initial site I built did well in terms of page views. It was WAYYY more work and cost WAYYY more money than I bargained for, and died a horrible death. I learned a valuable lesson in all of this - Don't break what isn't broken. My relationship with HB and Eklund was good up until 2013, and I screwed it up. It's all on me.

I have had a few attempts at making sites, and they are fun, but too much work to try to make successful. I have a great six-figure income now in a job that has a great long-term future. I have a most amazing wife. I'm even going back to university to try to finish my masters degree, and hopefully, will be buying a home in the Toronto area. My life has never been better.

I miss writing on this website. I posted a few blogs because of it. If management allows me to, I'll continue to post them. I'd like to write about more than the Oilers, because honestly, the Oilers are a bit of a boring topic now. Management and the players aren't a train-wreck anymore, so therefore, they aren't as interesting. There are teams like the Maple Leafs that are interesting because they are young and full of promise. Teams like the Penguins and Hawks who are interesting because they're always good. But the most interesting teams are the Canucks, Flyers, Sabres, Golden Knights, and Canadiens... Teams with awful management that never do anything right. As much as writing about the Oilers is my passion, the whole league is interesting right now.

I do feel bad for how Eklund and Company was treated by me. Mostly I feel bad for brawling with the trolls on this site, and there are many. I feel bad about that because it made me look bad more than anything else. The internet is what it is, and there's nothing you can do about the trolls, sadly.

Is it that unreasonable to believe you guys hit two major injuries this season and pick top 5 next draft?

Losing Klef would sting just as bad, I think. But no McDavid and Talbot would spell bottom 5 finish I think.

(frank) that. You wore out your welcome. You were lucky to have an active fanbase. You boasted about your 'readership because you had so many comments, when in reality the posters came here for each other, not your poop blogs.

You might look at Hendos comments and think you were better ( You're not...and Hendo sucks), but the truth is of the 50 odd regular posters you had maybe 5 left because you did. 40 of them were permabanned, 20 didn't know to make an alt, 3 are still here , one is dead and a small handful post irregularly.

My good bud Jero wanted to see you come back but after reading the drivel you posted on myhockeybuzz, I hope you choke on a KFC chicken bone ( or cock, not sure which is more likely).

Beat it, loser.

There's a few more than that. Laughs, Iggy, Reveen, HB77, IHBB, "your good buddy Jero" and myself were all consistent posters pre-Culling (probably forgetting a couple there, too). Was Schwein active before the end of Clouts' time? I know his account existed, but only recall his engagement once Hendo took over.
