id do it straight up for galchenyuk. I realize making this move kinda retards a strength of ours being able to move Leon up and down the top 6. But we want Leon in the center position long term anyway. This just kind makes that a done deal .
And galchenyuk has significantly higher offensive prowess than nuge imo. Kid can score goals. Amd that's a tough commodity to come by in the NHL

Throw him and puljujarvi on either wing of strome or Leon and I think you could have a pretty lethal line going forward


as far as the defence, If nurse and/or benning can step up and show they can be solid top 4 guys, ill feel relatively comf with the defence going forward

I hate to play Devils advocate, but if neither can do even a fair job paired with Russel thats gonna put a (frank) load of pressure on Klef and Larsson. Having said that, they both deserve a look, and there's nothing saying PC cant find a decent stop gap player for the remainder of the season.
The bright side is that if either one does very well we'll have a deep defence core once Sekeras comes back.
What really bugs me about the defence is that I dont feel this is a ' show me' type season. Its a get er (frank)ing done season.
