Almost a 90pt season his 1st year and we traded him 1/2 way into his 2nd. One of the worst trades in Ranger History. Easily top 5.

Technically he played 2 full years & a little more w the Rangers. Was a rookie in the 92-93 season (played maybe half of that yr), all of 93-94 & the lockout shortnened 95 season, was traded in the summer of 95.

there have been some horrible trades where they traded away great players and got absolutely nothing back like the Middleton and Ridley/Miller trades

that's why I rank those slightly worse than the Esposito and the Zubov trades

they did at least get players back in those deals who contributed for awhile, even though they got annihilated overall in both

Ulfie grew on me after a few years cause I hated him on Pittsburgh & in Hartford. Robataille never cut it in NY. Even playing with Gretz in his 2nd yr here.

Ulf was one of my favorite Rangers of all time. I wasn't aware of history before joining the Rangers but I really liked how he played when he was here.

He gives a 15 team trade list next summer. The NMC goes away for those teams. He still has a NMC that prevents him from being sent to minors though.

I would love if they bought him out today. Truly. Bite the bullet Gorton.

So he doesn't have to agree to one of those 15 teams once his list is submitted, like we were saying yesterday, Burton was just being a douche. Got it.

He was a dirtbag just like he was for us.

True. I always look at the 1st full year. Forgot the 95 lockout.

Send Holden, a 2nd and a prospect like Tambellini to TOR for Bozak. Money works out fine. Let D'A/Glazov/Pionk and Graves battle for the last spot and spare. Staal will be around at least through this year, then maybe you do the buyout next year or it perhaps is easier to deal him with one year less on his contract. I think he may look a bit better this year, but you can always make him the primary spare if it gets that bad.
