I think this Holden/Bozak thing has brought about the dumbest tweets from Ranger fans I have seen yet, and that was hard to do.

you are asking a team to take half of Staal's contract for 4 more years and at the same time somehow managing to get Staal to waive his NMC

look I agree that the Rangers and Leafs aren't making a trade any time soon

I wouldn't be so sure, I could see them not making it. Metro is a pretty tough division at the moment (Washington, Pittsburgh, CBJ, and possibly Philly this year). And in the Atlantic I can see Tampa, Florida, Toronto and maybe a team like Boston or Montreal get lucky and squeeze in over Rangers, being in the easier Atlantic division.

However, I would totally rather see Washington fall short of playoffs this year, after watching their horrid offseason moves.

Leafs are not trading Bozak. He will be re-signed by the Leafs next year at a hometown discount. Keep dreaming that you're going to get Bozak for a bottom pairing D. Not gonna happen. We have like 100 bottom pairing D's already. We need a real 1st pairing D or we're going into the season with what we have.

Well the rumor was from Brooks. I think Brooks is a douche canoe, but I'm a bit biased. So I didn't think anything of it.

I wouldn't mind at all getting Bozak, just don't see a trade between the 2 teams.

That's why ppl are suggesting adding a pick. Not trying to get anything of value in return but paying someone (with a pick) to take him.
Example: Staal and a 2nd to TBL for a 5th. That's JUST AN EXAMPLE of what ppl are trying to say. FlavorSaver, don't take that as the gospel.
